Breast Cancer Awareness: Tips & Prevention
It’s Breast Cancer awareness month! Ladies, here are 3 suggestions for detecting early & helping to prevent breast cancer:
1) Self check monthly to make sure there are no lumps or nodules in your breasts. Getting in the habit of checking while you’re showering after your menstrual cycle is a good way of staying consistent with checks. Get your free self check guide by clicking here.
2) Schedule a yearly women’s exam with your OBGYN or primary care physician. A breast exam is included and covered by health insurances as part of preventative care. If you don’t have insurance, there are still options for you. Visit the CDC website for resources near you.
3) Swap out all of your household cleaners, personal care items, and makeup that contain Parabens or other harmful ingredients included in the list below. One of my favorite brands to swap out skincare & makeup is Beautycounter.
4) Exercise regularly and stay active. I can help you with this! Visit www.brittanynoelle.com for online personal training or join my free 10 Day Challenge.
5) Make healthier nutrition choices such as eating plenty of antioxidant rich foods such as berries, kale, and artichokes.
